Completed Summer 2020
This project is a partial tear down and rebuild of an existing 1950’s split level house. We took the clients desire for a modern farmhouse style and applied that to a completely reimagined building form. The new farmhouse style roof is defined by the front and back porches and symmetrical dormers. To compliment these architectural elements, the house is clad in painted white siding, cedar shingles, copper eavestroughs, and black windows. The result is a clean design that balances traditional form and modern elements. The house fits perfectly into the established neighbourhood surrounding it.
